Description
Role purpose:
To Support with co-ordination and the delivery of all projects which must be delivered on or before the agreed timelines as per project delivery methodology (across all M-Pesa technology domains).
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Ensure delivery of technology projects as per agreed scope and within timelines;
• Conduct regular project review meetings to ensure projects and initiatives remain on track;
• Compile and maintain all relevant project documentation required as per project delivery methodology (e.g. project charter, user requirements specifications, project plan and reports);
• Ensure all relevant project documentation (in accordance with Project Delivery Strategy) are timeously loaded and available on M-Pesa’s internal central data repository; Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Analytical and problem solving skills;
• Self-driven towards achieving goals;
• Communication skills (both written & verbal) across various levels;
• Time management skills and the ability to perform tasks skilfully under pressure to meet deadline;
• Knowledge of Project Management Principles and/or understanding of Business Analysis Principles and Techniques
Key performance indicators:
• Ensure projects are delivered on (or before) the agreed timeline as per scope and within budget;
• Ensure all relevant project documentation (in accordance with Project Office standards) are timeously loaded and available on M-Pesa’s internal central data repository;
• Ensure minimal findings against project delivery governance when conducted by internal audit on projects delivered;
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Systems Technology;
• Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience;
• FinTech Knowledge (desirable);
• Project Management Intermediate Accredited (desirable)
• Agile PM methodology knowledge (desirable);
