Africa Global Logistics Mozambique, S.A, a company specialized in logistics services, international freight forwarding, shipping, freight and chartering, warehousing, appraisal and superintendent services and stevedoring services, with head office in Maputo city and agencies in Beira, Nacala-Porto, Xai-Xai, Chimoio, Nampula, Lichinga, Pemba, Tete, Inhambane and Quelimane, intend to recruit a Country Supply Chain Manager, to be based in Beira branch.
Role Overview
Responsible for managing a team and overseeing the complete supply chain function from raw material, procurement through to shipping whilst always looking to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost savings. Responsibilities will include leading the sourcing of raw and packaging materials, adjusting supply chain activity according to sales demand, overseeing SAP material planning, negotiating transport contracts, overseeing warehouse and workshop activities, continuous process improvement and ensuring all import/export and permit documentation is in order.

A posição é adequada para candidatos com educação
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or similar field.
Qualificação e Habilidades da oferta
8 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or a related field (preferably in Warehousing).
Commodity Experience (fertilizer is an advantage).
Experience in Freight Forwarding is an advantage.
Strong Management skills, Strategic Planning skills, knowledge processes/procedures operations, operations management
Skills/Knowledge/Attributes
Motivated, Customers orientated person with strong leadership skills.
Fluent in English and Portuguese.
Practical knowledge of MS Office.
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, engaged and reliable.
